Initial reports that the commission condemned the attack was disproportionate and urged Israel to pay compensation to the families of the victims. Sunday, Israeli commission also announced the results of their own investigation and said the Israeli action against aid ships were "legitimate in accordance with the rules of international law."
The report issued by the UN Human Rights Council on September 22, said there was "clear evidence to support prosecution" against Israel for the deliberate murder and torture in the May attack killed nine Turkish activist.
Israel rejects report it by calling it as biased and supportive of one party and stressed that they act in accordance with international law.
